Irmi in Munich

Great food but extremely long waiting times. The staff that knew what they were doing was extremely nice but sadly those people weren't the majority. Our orders also got mixed up and there was confusion with the bill because it listed things we didn't order.

Good food and beer, easy to reserve table ahead. Service friendly but had to find a waiter for refills from time to time, even though they are in the restaurant. Wasn't a problem for us, since we had time. Good for a relaxing evening and location very central.

Definitely a lot of potential but unfortunately still very slow. But I'm really looking forward to the progress you can make with the super friendly staff and the very caring boss.

Best Kaiserschmarren outside of Vienna, the other dishes from Austria are also difficult to top??

Service is slow. No one seems to know how to make a decent latte or cappuccino. I got a different version each time depending on the server. I cannot believe they actually charge €17 for breakfast when it’s such slow service and they would actually serve sweaty cheese in a bento box during covid. You can never get your moneys worth here. Dinner was even more disappointing. Their vegan burger was a beyond meat patty although they told me it was beetroot and peas... bit of a stretch. I couldn’t eat it, but the waiter said nothing and proceeded to get me my check for €27. Clearly... it was not edible. The salad is an afterthought. I wouldn’t have gone here if I wasn’t staying at the hotel.

Nice place, refined at the right point, not too fancy but still "cool". Salads are very good (perhaps they should be slightly more abundant). The choice of wines and beers good. Excellent Kürbissuppe!

Tens across the board!!! Cosy location, food was really good. I really loved the pulled pork burger. I also tried wiener schnitzel and was delicious. Service was friendly and smily. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Service!

A nice evening at Irmi. The food was delicious and above all a lot. We ordered the starter for 1 person and divided it into four, which was completely sufficient. The concept of the restaurant is that, like grandma's, you leave the restaurant on a full stomach - which definitely works! If everything is very tasty as I said, only you can divide the portions really well :), then you are not so full or do not have to leave as much.

Good restaurant with new german cuisine. Place and staff are nice. I took the Spätzle and it was pretty good.

We had a really bad experience at this place. Try to avoid if you’re after a decent local restaurant! Service was a nightmare (e.g. it took 30 minutes until somebody was even able to take our drinks order). Food is totally overpriced for what you get (e.g. on the menu it says 1/2 duck for more than 26€ and what you get are two small duck legs). Last but not least for some reason it was freezing cold inside - people were wearing jackets and hats inside the restaurant - not very comfortable. There are much better places in Munich, especially if you’re after a local restaurant! Fancy place which doesn’t live up to what they promise...

Unfortunately - with the exception of the meal - nothing succeeded that evening: the staff was overwhelmed, the drinks had an extremely long waiting time and the bill was only properly drawn up the third time. the price-performance ratio was unfortunately not good for our taste that evening. If there is a lack of / untrained staff, you simply have to work on the overall performance. Nevertheless, we would like to say that the staff has remained friendly until the end.

Place itself looks pretty inside. My dish was too salty. My wife has explained that she has an allergy on specific ingredient, but she still got a dish with it, which is very disappointing. At the end the dish was partially replaced and a waitress was really sorry for it. I would say that quality does not correspond to the price there.

Amazing restaurant attached to the hotel Le Meredien. Serves great food that have both German and Bavarian cultures, with large portions that are filling. The must tries are the Ribs and the Oxtail. Service is also very friendly and waiters are charamsatic and helpful. Came back twice within three days. A must try when in the area!

3 nights in Munich , 2 nights Dinner @ Irmi. This says how good the restaurant is! Severin (Manager) has managed the team well! They are always helpful, ready with a friendly smile. Severin and team mingle with the guests to create a homely environment. Must try food: 1. Roasted Bavarian Duck 2. Ox tail 3. Pork Ribs (Yes! Is huge!) 4. Beef fillet Dessert: 1. Apple strudel 2. kaiserschmarrn If you have 1 day in Munich, just go for this restaurant. Right next to Central train station @ Le Meridien Hotel

Bavarian restaurant in a contemporary setting Ort of Le Meridien hotel. We went there on a Friday evening with local friends. The restaurant was full and very noisy maybe that’s why the service was a bit slow. We were not impressed at all by the food. Starters were below average, the pumpkin soup was full of spices and did not taste like pumpkin, a Bavarian trio of sauces were not really Bavarian according to my local guests and did not impress me at all. The bread was good. Schnitzels did not impress us at all. However, the duck was above average. They also had a nice selection of beers. We did not try any desserts. At the end they were kind enough to offer a round of walnut liquer shots which we loved. Both the taste and the fact that they offered it. We requested a second round that was charged at 5€ per shot which we found totally overpriced. In general the restaurant is on the pricey side.

Great food and service, but it takes a while for food to be ready. Place is good for groups - it's a bit busy and noisy for couples.

We decided to go to Irmi on our first night in Munich after reading all the rave reviews. And boy, we were glad we did. A staff member greeted enthusiastically when we arriceved which was a nice change especifically coming from Vienna where the waiters don't dare to smile. The staff members including the manager patiently answered our questions and made suggestions. The whole staff was friendly and professional. I ordered the pan fried char; the meal was delicious. As for dessert, we went with the kaiserschmarrn as suggested by our waiter. It was wonderful! I want to thank the whole staff for making it a memorable night. Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel welcomed in your country.

I had Wammerl Krustenbraten, the Sauerkraut wasn’t much sauer but the meat was ver soft and crispy. The Knödel was very buttery but fit in my taste. Service was good, I’d say it wasn’t the real authentic bayern dish but they were tasty in general. Beer was ok too.

Tested this restaurant recently.. staff very attentive and kind.. Schnitzel unfortunately not too tasty.. a pity! Seating cosy, modern twist and huge outside area.

Our dinner at Irmi was outstanding, service from all the staff was exceptional, atmosphere is vibrant and modern. Now for the food review, WOW, enormous portions of delicious goodness, I had the duck, my wife had the pork ribs, which are not for the faint hearted. Everything here at Irmi is what would be expected from a high end establishment.

Food was delicious. My best Kaiserschmarren I have ever sat. The main course was also delicious. My wife's steak was medium to the point and totally tender. The service was great and made everything perfect. If possible I would give 10/5 stars.

I can understand people not knowing how to cook, but these guys just don't know how to eat

Good food, good beer and great service. They put up with me practicing my awful German on them all night and didn't complain once, lovely group of ladies and gents. Highly recommend the Apple Strudel.

The guy, meeting you at the entrance was nice and friendly. Food was tasty, but we had to wait long for it, and apparently they just forgot about it. later, they finally brought it, but it was cold. The glasses on the pictures are broken. Food I can justify that the restaurant was completely full, but, sorry, cold?? and broken glasses???

Nice hip place. Very crowded but still friendly, reasonably quick and my dish was excellent. Maybe a bit pricey but worth it.

Nice restaurant with a small courtyard near the main station. Delicious Bavarian dishes and delicacies for young and old. Good choice of main dishes and appetizers as well as dessert. Dishes could be slightly larger for the mid-range price segment. Reservation recommended for larger groups. To 2. Goes once spontaneously.

Great restaurant! Nice atmosphere, we sat outside in the courtyard. Very friendly and attentive service! The food was amazing! The duck to the point and the pork ribs a dream! Great drinks, different selection of beers Gladly again!

Good food and service

B'fast selections were small but enough to cater Asian & Western diners. Foods are tasty. Service was great. Mostly speak good English. We also had dinner here. Reservation is highly recommended coz it's not a big seating. Food was great! Highly recommended.

Great Bavarian cuisine. The staff was really nice and funny. The atmosphere is also calm, even though it's basically next to Central station. I'd definitely recommend this place over other touristy restaurants in the area if you are into Bavarian food. Definitely try their homemade beer ice cream when available.

Great Birthday Party! The staff was very attentive and even sang a birthday song for my sister. They took care of the kid that was with us. We ordered steak and Saibling fish and - of course- Kaiserschmarrn. The steak melted in my mouth and the Kaiserschmarrn was perfect. We loved the bread. Thank you so much for a great evening full of fun and laughter. This was a very successful birthday party!
